Michael Y. Kawada

Mr. Kawada is a consultant with Harris Consulting. He specializes in health care finance and valuations for physician practices, MSO, IPAs, hospitals and HMOs. Mr. Kawada’s experience also includes financial modeling, operational cost savings improvement and strategic business planning.

Mr. Kawada has extensive experience as both an operator and consultant. Mr. Kawada was a financial turnaround analyst at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles and was a consultant with The Camden Group. His most recent experience was with Providence Health System as a Regional Manager of Finance and Supply Chain.

Mr. Kawada holds a bachelor’s degree in physical sciences and a master’s in health administration, from the University of Southern California. He is currently an active member of HFMA, ACHE, HCE, MGMA and is an active board member of the USC Health Services Administration Alumni Association. In 2006, he was named in Metropolitan’s Who’s Who.
