Mr. Harris a principle with Harris Consulting with over 27 years of health care experience in the areas of managed care contracting, IPA, MSO and medical group operations, and management of ancillary services. Mr. Harris is responsible for analyzing current contract terminology and rates, and contract negotiation with payers.

Prior to joining Harris Consulting, Mr. Harris was most recently a manager with a national consulting firm and has service in several senior management positions with physician organizations. Mr. Harris is uniquely qualified to lead varied consulting engagements bring enabling organizations to benefit from his vast hands-on experience as well as his national consulting background. His past and current experience includes payer contracting physician, new practice start-up, on-site management and claims administration, as well as managing the day-to-day operations. He has also held positions with prominent IPAs, medical groups who provide services for several payer types (e.g., Medicare, MediCal, PPO and private fee-for-service reimbursement methods). Mr. Harris is currently a physician practice management instructor at the University of Southern California. He is also a sought after speaker and trainer for many organizations across the country. Mr. Harris received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and his master's in health care management from California State University - Los Angeles.
