Alan Eppler

Mr. Eppler a principle with Eppler Consulting with over 25 years of health care experience in the areas of managed care contracting, IPA, MSO and Medical Group operations. Mr. Eppler is responsible for the development and analysis of contract terminology and rates, complex contract negotiations, revenue recoveries and payer reimbursements, and most recently network development in Northern California. Mr. Eppler is a contributor to "Health Care Capitation and Risk Contracting Manual", distributed nationally through Thompson Publishing Group.

Prior to joining Eppler Consulting, Mr. Eppler was Vice President of Managed Care and Network Development for Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey.

His responsibilities included contract negotiations for hospital and physician services, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the IPA and MSO. He has also held positions with PacifiCare Health Systems, Adventist Health, Holy Cross Medical Center, Hawthorne Community Medical Group, Inc., and Leisure World Health Care Center (a full service Geriatric facility serving 7,000 residents). Mr. Eppler received both his bachelor's degree and master's in administration from the University of California, Irvine. Mr. Eppler is also a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California.
